RECLAMATION SYSTEM

Reclamation is often confused with recycling. In reclamation, the water from each bay's sedimentation tank, after the solids have settled to the bottom of the tank, flow into a series of three (3) underground 2000 gallon tanks. The first tank has two baffles [three (3) chambers], which help to capture sediment.

Ozone is made on site and injected into the second chamber of the first tank to kill bacteria. The settling process continues in the second tank and to a smaller degree in the third tank. The third tank serves as a reservoir for treated water to be reused on demand in the high pressure undercarriage, wash cycles and in the self service bays. Any excess treated water will be discharged into the sanitary sewer system.

The reclamation process is in the Flow Diagram of the American Pride Water Management System. This water is of high quality and has been filtered through an absolute 25 micron stainless steel filter. It is clear with a minute amount of trace minerals.
